There’s plenty of discussion about Apple Arcade and it’s more than 200 games. Whether it’s worth the subscription cost or not. Not all games in Apple Arcade are for all platforms, and because mishmash is focused on Mac gaming, I’ve selected something close to my best of list for macOS – full of my raging bias. A mix of games I’ve played, admired, or find of interest. Maybe one day I’ll get round to trying them all. Probably not, some genres just aren’t my thing. And for anyone who games on an iPhone or iPad there are many more games such as Dead Cells, Downwell, and Stardew Valley (check to see what’s currently included). There’s also games for Apple TV and Vision Pro.
I’ve listed the games in the order they were added to Apple Arcade, with the most recent at the top. A few points of interest. Arcade seems to have the best golf games on Mac. It’s got a lot of highly rated games for tower defence fans. Also a solid line-up of cozy life sims. Now on to the list. Let’s see what Apple Arcade has to offer Mac gamers.
